Head of Mazandaran Province Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Abdollah Mohajer added that the fixed price of the export goods, especially for businessmen from Mazandaran who have the biggest share of trade ties with Eurasian countries, would decrease 15-20 percent.

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is comprised of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

At the meetings of the EAEU, sometimes attended by Iran, issues such as tourism, energy, financial, economic and educational cooperation are discussed.

A ten-million-dollar deal for exporting products made in the Province, including cement and marine products, was signed during the first exhibition of Mazandaran in Volgagrad, Russia, which was held late in August.

'Mazandaran has a high capacity for non-oil exports, especially to the Caspian Sea countries,' Mohajer said, adding that some 200 million dollars non-oil products were exported from the Province over the first five-months period of this (Persian) year (March 21-Aug 22) that shows a 20-percent growth compared to the same period last year.

'The export potential of Mazandaran Province with 6 million tons of agricultural products a year is over 500 million dollars,' he added.

Mazandaran's non-oil exports hit 520 million dollars over last year; Russia and Iraq were the main targets.
